ABOUT ME

I am a Christian and blessed to be married to my wonderful husband for almost 29 years and to be called mom by three wonderful human beings, Jack, Sunni and Cole, for which JSC Photography was named. Now, those wonderful human beings call me 'Stalkarazzi' whenever I pull out my camera. Luckily, Diesel, a poodle mix and recent addition to our family, doesn't seem to mind having his photo taken (yet) so I can forgive him when he insists on sleeping across both of my feet every night, keeping me warm, whether I need it or not. 

The love of photography came at a young age with my very first camera - a Kodak 110! Wow! I feel old admitting that! Photography has changed a lot since then but some remain the same - like people who value photographs and want to capture memories they will cherish forever! These are my people who become clients, and often friends. When I say 'let's get acquainted' it means I want to know about you too!

The daughter of a veteran, I grew up living and traveling around the world and that lifestyle continued into my adulthood. In 2001, our family moved from Arizona to 'Almost Heaven' West Virginia, where we put down roots. Travelling is still one of my favorite pastimes and nothing beats a road trip with people you love, exploring and spending time together - and lots of photo-ops, of course!

I graduated from High Point University in the beautiful state of North Carolina. While I attended college full time, I also worked full time, taught fitness classes part time, built my first home, planned our long distance wedding (in four months!) and got married! I believe you can do anything if you put your heart into it because I am an example of that! Now, with the love and support of my family and friends, I am living my dream every day - owning my own photography business, doing what I love for people who love what I do! I never imagined I'd end up here but I'm so grateful I did!
